Just a curiosity thing, but have any of you guys noticed that people seem to get more of partcular types of fish deseases in their tanks at different times of the year? During spring for example there always seems to be tons of whitespot threads in the emergency section, but now its more an internal bacteria/columnaris time of year.
Is this just coincidence or is there more to it?

I no clown laoches are prone to skinny desease at this time of year.

I don't understand.

I know my fish cannot tell the difference in the time of year there tank and conditions are kept same all year around.

I can see maybe how this would apply in the wild, but how exactly does it apply for ours tanks?

When I was buying fish in Spring (6 months ago for us Aussies) the LFS person told me to watch for whitespot as it is more predominant at that time of year...

That said, he may have been saying it since most of the fish in his tanks had whitespot.

I can imagine there would be less whitespot outbreaks in Sumemr due to the higher temperatures.
