so im getting a bored of my tank and I feel the need to change stock.

ignore my sig as this is what I orinally wanted but have changed my mind once again.

current stock is;
2 dwarf gourami
2 dwarf platy
5 cory trili
10 kuhli
7 five band barbs
9 cpd
11 glowlight tetra
2 bn plec
2 nitrite snails
some ramshorn and mts

now i want something with character, I don't think I want so many different species. id like a tight schooling fish but not rummy nose as these are to fast for what I want.

the tank looks bland atm with mostly orange fish.

the fish id like to keep are the kuhlis and the barbs, but I never see the kuhlis and barbs are shy and hide in the plants most of the time.

I like neons but they don't school enough for my liking, opaline gourami are great but to big, dwarf emerald rasbora are a fave and id love to have loads but I can never find them and my lfs are not great at getting things in. I dont really want to get online. I love rams but every time I get 2 one always kills the other, kribs are 2 aggressive. I prefer smaller fish rather then larger. I always look at the male guppies and platies as I love the bright colouring. I like most of the rainbow fish and also apistos, im more drawn to blue coloured fish.

tank is 100cm 180l, hard water ph about 8, ammo 0 nitrite 0 nitrate 10-20,

heavily planted, sand substrate.

any advice please, I need help!!! :shout:

What about some penguin tetras ?? I have 2 that I've brought across from my old setup of 3 years ( not adding anymore as im into Molly's so waiting do them to die off naturally ) and they swim around the tank together I'm sure getting at least 6 would be plenty and add some difference to your tank and mine are a fair size.

I think cardinal Tetras are colourful but dont shoal closely. No fish shoals closley unless they fell threatened.

I think you should give them to a lfs who has some or someone you know who has them as they prefer to be in groups if you dont want them

No one I know has them and I've had them for last 3 years so I don't think they'll be alive for much longer and I don't think it would be fair to pass them on and it'll be my luck they'll die within a couple months of passing them on.
