ok i want to get a group of green tigerbarbs med sized and i was wondering if im able to put them in 90 gallon

i have in thse

11 cories at last count
4 clown loaches 2incehs and fat
1rtrs 4 inches and fat
5 paradise fish
3 opaline gouramis
2 common plecs at 3 inches presently

I would say that would be ok but just watch for aggression with the red-tailed shark. If you have a large enough group of barbs too I think i've heard stories of them ganging up on other fish as they can also be on the aggressive side. I would say try and just watch for problems. You may get lucky but make sure you can bring them back to the lfs if it doesn't work :good:

ive got tigerbarbs, about 10( tiger/green tiger/gold tiger barbs)in a 60 gallon tank and they dnt have a problem with the red tail shark, they did with my siamese fighter, but that was when i was young and nieve lol (rip siamese fighter). Althought the rts does stay in the log quite alot.....

thats the idea to get rainbow shark to curb his antics so he dont get worst ... i was told that tiger barbs are nippers for fins i was just concerned about he opaline gouramis for that htey have long tenecales

They say that if you keep them in large groups they are 'ok' with other fish, and to be honest, i only have ten and i have 2 gourami's and angels and they dont bother either

We bought 10 green tigers at the weekend, they only bother each other, and seem to like engaging each other in mock battles. We have a few Gouramies and Angels and we planned to move them into a spare tank but as they don't even go near them I am gonna play it by ear. I will still keep the spare filter maturing in the main tank though just in case.
