tiger oscars

Large cichlid pellets, and large frozen foods (Crustaceans) would be good foods

Do you mean 6 one-inch glass fish or one 6" glass fish? I've never heard of glass fish that big  When the oscar gets to full size it would probably try to eat both of the fish you mentioned. I would go for a bigger pleco, if an oscar trieds to eat yours, both fish would probably die

I personally use chinese algae eaters in the cichlid tanks they seem to be the only ones that don't get hurt when kept with cichlids, regular plecos and even fancy varieties are too slow moving and get bitten or their eyes taken out :( chinese algae eaters can be aggresive but they will hold there own with a cichlid and do a great job cleaning :)

My dad has told me stories of when he had a CAE, he said that it beat the cr*p out of his medium sized cichlids :)

we have chinese algae eaters with bleekeri cichilds, keyhole cichlids, assorted africans, and angel fish, the chinese algae eaters are very large too and while they every once in awhile chase our cichlids we have never had a problem with them.
