hi there,

i bought a second hand, 80l fluval tank with an internal fluval U3 filter 3 weeks ago. the tank was stripped down, the filter kept wet and i set it up again straight away. the tank had been established for 2 years before i got it. two days later, i installed another 600l/hour filter to ensure adequate filtration in the tank. the temperature is set at 25 degrees and obviously i de-chlorinated the water. i tested the water yesterday (exactly 3 weeks after set up) and the readings were fine ( ph 6.5, ammonia 0, nitrate and nitrite 0) so i went to the lfs and bought 10 small tiger barbs. when i got them home and floated the bag in the tank, one of them 'didn't look well.' 'she' was very small and was not shoaling with the others, just sitting at the top of the tank with her head kind of pointing down the way. this morning she was dead. all the others seemed fine. now however two of the others (which are quite a bit smaller than the others but not significantly enough for bullying!) are not looking too great. they are hiding in the plants. they have eaten this evening and came out for food. i have re-tested the water and the values are the same as yesterday. do you think they will be ok?? am i doing something wrong?? should i do a partial water change??

thanks for any advice
