Tiger Barbs

Hi, ive been watching 1 of my tiger barbs today and it appears to be in a bit of distress.
It loos like its finding it hard to swim, it is almost as if its head is to heavy and it cannot straighten itself to to swin properly.

this is normal for TBs
the one with it's head down will more than likely have a red nose and a red front edge to the dorsal (top) fin, this indicates he is a sexualy mature male and he is attracting a mate by head-standing.

Hi, you were right about the markings on the fish.

He has also now gone very dark and quite plump is this normal aswell

yes it is normal, provided that he is active.
