Tiger Barbs

I have just been informed by a friend that tiger barbs tend to nibble at little fish is this right because I have found to neons dead in my tank and the tiger barb going at it. We only bought them yesterday so if it is right then I have some complaining to do as they sold them both together. Arrrghhhh I am mad if they cant go together.

We kinda thought the person selling them us may have known what they were talking about but seems that they she didnt!

We have some kissing guarmis in there too will they be ok?

15 gal We are planning on getting a much bigger tank in a few months to transfer them to, but I am worried about them for the moment. I have taken the tetras out and placed in my smaller tank away from the tigers but I am worried about the guarmis now.

The trait of fin nipping in Tiger Barbs is somewhat reduced if kept in a larger shoal.
