One of my empty 10 gallon tanks got four (I know I need an odd number but they didn't have any more until today) TINY tiger barbs. They are SUPER TINY. I know I am going to go back and get probably three more of them today when they get a new shipment. What else can I put in there with them?

Tiger barbs will grow though, and a 10 gallon is really too small for these active guys. Are you planning on upgrading tank eventually? In that tank you'll need to be very careful what you choose to go with them. If the 10 gallon is as big as it gets it would benefit you and open your options to choose something calmer.

I have multiple big tanks that I figure they will eventually go into. I just had an empty 10 set up with no occupant. These fish are soooooooo small at the moment, that unless I way overfeed them it will take them quite a while to grow to full size. I'll try to get a pic of them later today to show you how little they are.

They'll be ok for now, but once they start to get too big, their colors will fade and they will not be too active. Thats your signal to move them.

put them with some other bar (cherry/green/two spot etc) or mix with clown loaches :) they offen swim together and get confuse.

they will out grow the tank quickly. i have 5 in my 20 gal and they are all over the place literally. i had 2 "tiny" ones that are now the same size as my larger ones and thats from 1 feeding a day for about a few months.
