well depending on the tank/space u have could u keep a say......30 gal. with the victs. and another with the dempsey and a few other fish and then wait to decide what to do with the 55g ???
uhhh... where does a 55 gallon come into the equation? Here is an update: I have decided to scrap the victs and the oscar and to go for 1 JD and 1 small plec, probably bristlenose. Whats the min tank size for these two fish (keeping in mind that there will be no territory issues due to the fact that there is only 1 small jack demspey)?

A fish the size ofa fully grown Oscar doesnt need to be aggressive to eat the otherfish, it will simply see them as food...........trust me
I never said oscars were very aggressive... I don't know where this came from. All I want to know is what size tank can I keep a small JD and small pleco in.

Alright scrap that idea. Another dream gone to waste :byebye: Thanks for crushing my aspirations people. :p I'm joking of course, Thanks for warning me. I've decided to get the 20 gallon anyway, and use it as a breeding tank for angels, since I really enjoyed breeding them in the past and want to get back into it. How does 4 juvies in a 20 sound? When they pair up I will return the excess.
