Tiger Barbs And Green Tiger Barbs?

Will different types of Barb mix? ie If I kept 6 Barbs would it be ok to have a mix of 3 Tigers and 3 Green Tigers, or should they all be the same?

"Green" Tiger Barbs and regular Tiger Barbs are the same species, as such will regard each other as like. Green TB's are simply a man made variety of the wild fish.

hi as said by LL, green tigers & stripey tigers are the same species & will school together & generally socialise together. we've had a mix of green & stripey tigers for over 4 yrs & i dont think the greenies realise they are green! or different they all hang & interact together & albino tiger barbs are the same
