Tiger Barb

Hi.. I was sitting an watching the fish in my fish tank when i noticed one of my tiger barbs was missing i looked around the aquirium for him/her (i dunno what gender he/she is.) but i found him/her hiding an a pipe ornament i put in my fish tank... The fish was breathing heavilly(gills were moving out alot farther then normal) and is usually very active but today it seems shy and its hiding... Yesterday it was being chased by anotheir tiger barb around the tank, and the otheir tiger barb would rub up against its side, and cchase it threw out the entire fish tank,they would also go up to just below the surface do a little underwater flip and continue to swim threw the tank and rub up against each otheir...


Does any one know whats happend to my tiger Barb???

sounds like beginning stages of ich or an internal parisite. Hiding barb is probably the most affected at this time. When fish is hiding its never a good sign, specially a schoaling fish.
