Biggest concern here is the CAE (you may not see it latch onto the other fish, but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen)....and a common pleco in a 30G tank...not good, those things get huge
yeah I'm aware of the common pleco, I've also noticed a mark on my dead pleco like from the the slice another plec would which reminds me when yesterday I put my fake plants in and my common pleco's tail rubbed against my clown pleco could that have done any damage? I know their fins are like knives so I'm not sure if that would cause it or not.

Possibly a wound from the CAE

I just wanted to say thank you all soo much for all the advice you have given me :)

This Community is more than just a few members it's full of members that have experience, help people out, are respectful, and much much more and that's what I love about it, you don't need to go to a store to get false advice that may as well just be leading you to death of your fish instead we can go to fishforums.net and get actual real advice that would actually help save your fish and guide you in the right direction

My Note to anyone reading this post that's new: If you have ANY questions at all feel free to open a topic and get ACTUAL REAL ADVICE instead of false fake advice :)

My note to the MODS: Thank you guys soo much for keeping this forum clean, and keeping the respect, etc!

with me being new I hope to see this forum until well I die which is going to be a long time from now given the fact that I'm 18 ;)

you know what I just realized the pleco I have that I kept thinking was a common it's not after all it is a clown pleco it has the same stripes as a clown pleco and the same mouth...

and I miscalculated it's size it's about 2 and a half inches and it's not growing any bigger. I've had him for about a year now. I see they only grow up to 3"
