i have 6 tiger barbs in a 55g tank from the original 10 that i bought (they were very small when i bought them so i think some died from shock), anyway i wanted to make sure they were happy so i wanted to buy 4-6 more to have a nice school since i really like the species

they were schooling with the clown barbs a bit and i like the effect of the stripy school

is it ok to add new fishthat are smaller or should i really endevour to get similarly sized tiger barbs so they dont get picked on or something

i was also planning on adding some more barbs

the ones i had my eye on were black ruby barbs, clown barbs and one that i think are "two banded barbs"

anyone with experience on mixing these species together in a planted tank with clown loaches?

the fish i have and want to keep are: 4 clown loaches, 6 tiger barbs, 4 rosy barbs, 1 bristlenose

i am really going for an active fish planted tank with lots of medium sized fish like barbs, any other hardy species (preferably bold patterning and need to be active) that i could add, any size from 0-10cm is what im looking for

thanks for any help, any random suggestions for my tank are very welcome, ill include a picture to give you some incentive to contribute ;) (the angels are going soon so dw about them as are the gouramis)
