They look good, shouldn't affect the water chemistry (assuming that that's what you want), but there's no size reflection anywhere there I can see, they could be tiny or huge.

As for being porous, that could be good or bad news. If the flow is good enough they could offer biological filtration a la live rock, but the concern would be anaerobic points....the cynic in me wondering if that's why they've made some caves in the bigger ones.

They are ceramic so pretty sure wont offer any biological filtration at all, totally inert I would think.
I was thinking more along the lines of light weight and they are hollow so as to offer more hiding places without displacing much water.

As for sizes I looking at this pack ... the stones scroll down on overview for sizes,
The can be had much cheaper on other sites , will just need to shop around.

10 "Big Stone" Pack
Two Large Stone 7-1/4" x 6-3/4" x 5-3/4"
Two Medium II Stone 5-1/2" x 3-3/4" x 3-1/2"
Two Medium III Stone 6-1/4" x 3-3/4"x 3-3/4"
Two Large Boulder 8-1/4" x 5" x 4-1/2"
Two Large Toe-Holds 8" x 5" x 5"

The one pack isn't enough to complete a tank but would make a nice pile in my opinion

i will be adding a box like this to my setup, however the setup will also have river style rock in it as well so it will be mixed in...

also look @ Amazon u can actually get it a bit cheaper...

The have been in for a bit, tank is getting fish in 2 days.
I have a pack of the medium in transit and it should finish this out nicely..
No weight= no need for milk crate. and hollow = little water displacement.

Love em.. and yes I shopped and got the 10 pack for a bit less..
The plants in 3rd picture were for cycling reasons..
I'll move em since my Cichlids wont really respect them much lol

I have some hollow plastic rocks that I have used at the top of my natural rock stack so I can have something adding height whilst leaning on the back glass without excess pressure. They look great once the algae starts to grow.

One caution however is that in order to sink they need to have small holes to allow the water in. These holes on my rocks are just big enough to appeal to new fry which hide inside the rocks. Great - but they also poop there and whenever I lift the rocks out I get some yucky coloured water out. I imagine the environment in these can get a little anaerobic so it would be worthwhile rinsing them out of gunk every once in a while.

edit: yeah - nice big holes in these arent they - It would have paid to look at the pic first!. nice looking stonies there.
