I have a question about cucumbers as food for my corydoras and my common plec. They dont sink. Can anyone help?

Cook them a little bit. A short time in a bowl of hot water should help them sink. There are also corkscrews made particularly for making vegetables sink in the aquarium.

I just use a piece of that lead weight that you get with plants.Stick one through the middle of your bit of cucumber and it should sink no problem

Should I cut off the skin of the cucumber?

you need to use a plastic clip to hold it against the glass
or use a plant weight to tie it, or boil it for a few seconds to make it sink
