for my 75 gallon tank ive considered just about everything (lake malawi, brackish pike top minnow tank, fully planted angel and discus tank, planted community) and ive decided that i want a setup that will require no live plants. I HATE the look of artificial plants so this setup must have no live or artificial plants (like a african chiclid tank or mangrove tank, or a stingray tank, i know i said no live plants but i meant no live aquatic plants and yes i know no rays for this sized tank). can you reccomend an oddball for this tank? (or just a species suitable for a tank like this)

i doubt a knife would rip out plants but i have no experience with them. my bichir doesnt bother my plants but ive heard of them uprooting em. but so far theyre pretty good
