I saw something in youtube were guys posted a betta fight. No idea what they were doing they put at least 5 males together and they were fighting! It was cruel

the majority of people dotn have a clue about the needs of bettas and couldnt care less, " its a fish, get over it"...

People will do anything now a days and at an animals expense all to often.
I really do not think we should post the links on here to show even more because all it gives the people who have this bad things on video sites is more credit and give them more happiness and fulfillment to go do it again with some other animal.

it worries me what some people do and how they get their kicks-

although by watching what is probably a horrendous video of fish forced together in a small jar fighting your doing what the video maker wants.( i dont want to watch)

makes me sick to think of the things people do to animals, i think this thread should be locked its not benefitting anybody and its definately not helping bettas it just angers and disgusts alot of people who have the welfare of these fine creatures as their priority.

well to be honest your just as much an idiot for watching whatever it maybe, didnt click on the link i dont appreciate seeing people torturing betta for self pleasure, im guessing thats what it's about, and to say youve no idea of what they were doing get a life you know exactly what they were doing. i suggest you delete the link.

hey modaz maybe she was just searching for betta...and stumbled upon it.... maybe u should start a revolution and a new save the bettas website..where u could parade on the streets dressed in betta uniform with signs saying "betta fighting = cruelty" u surely will make a difference heard round the world

I hate when people post those videos, I know they p**s people off, but griping about them isn't going to change the fact that they exist, its just going to fuel the fire. The people who make these videos tend to do just to get a rise out of people like you. So just ignore them since there's nothing you can do anyway, and getting so upset is bad for your karma

I guess there is one thing - go to the video (don't actually watch them) and hit the inappropriate link. If they get enough people hitting the links they may be forced to take them off the site.

theres some weird people in the world, how can anyone get enjoyment out of watching animals fight?, bettas,dogs, cockfighting etc... it honestly amazes me
