Ok everyone, I've been out of the breeding loop for a good year now, but I've decided to give it a try again. But I can't decide which pair to try out. So I want your advice!

Ok everyone, I've been out of the breeding loop for a good year now, but I've decided to give it a try again. But I can't decide which pair to try out. So I want your advice!

The first pair! I'm a sucker for metallic black laces, and they're just gorgeous. Plus, I'm going to need you to send me some of their babies.

It's always nice to see another plakat lover. I've somehow ended up with a lot of longfin HM bettas lately, but PKs have always been my favorites. I love how feisty they are, and shorter fins look more balanced to me. I do tend to at least go for longfins that have a lot of PK in them, shortening their fins a bit.

We went for at least 2 years before getting back into breeding. It's so nice to have babies around again!

I think all three pairs are lovely. I would start conditioning all six fish and see which pairs seem ready to breed first. And if they don't breed, you have two other pairs you can set up without having to wait to condition them. Personally, I'd try to breed the white pair (#2) first, as I'm a sucker for the pastels/opaques/cellophanes. Next I'd pair up the first pair, the green/red pair. I'm not personally impressed with the third pair, though they do compliment each other well and could make some really nice babies.

I hope you get some babies from these fish- they are absolutely lovely fish!!

They are all pretty, of course, but I'd go with the first pair first

it all depends on what your after,Tail types , colour etc.I would go for pair one for colour but pair 3 for tail.Hope this helps.

get pairs 1 and 3 ready try for pair 1 first and if you have no luck with them then try the third pair.
