Thinking Of Getting A Betta. But Need Some Info First.

thinking about getting a betta, do they mind being in a tank full of tropical fish? Like guppys, platys, mollys, swordtails, and some other tropical fish?

Bettas are solitary fish and do prefer to be on their own tho there are some that will be happy in a community tank. However they do not get on with lon finned fish or fish that are brightly colour as they see these as a threat i.e another male. Your guppys will probably end up being dinner. Again there are very fex exceptions to this but its a big risk.

Perhaps get a nice 5 gal tank for him
