I currently am thinking of a restock in my tank, and wandered if there is any nice other cichlids i could add?

i currently have:
3 x panda corys
3 x similis corys
2 x sterbai corys
10 x xray tetra
10 x rasbora's
4 x gold rams
4 x gbr's
1 x bolivian ram

im thinking rehoming the tetra's and rasbora's,the bolivian and maybe 2 gbrs (even though i wanna keep them)

i would like to add then say 4 - 6 keyholes, and a couple of them lovely auerus fish minxfishy has

would this be ok? if i kept all the rams would it be ok still?

i would love a severum but no i cant with my rams, and i love discuss too

please dont say angels as i dont like them

Tank size? I have a feeling substrate space might become an issue.

No worries :)

What were you thinking along the lines of Mark? Oscars, Severums, other large cichlids? Or more of a community set up?

Still think your fine to keep the rams and have aureus/ellioti with corydoras.

not as big as oscars to be honest. i would love in the future to have a pair of discus!!

but to be honest,i want to keep to ram size or slightly bigger.

i would love to keep all my rams,or maybe rehome the very bossy male GBR and base the tank arounf them and my corys!!

i do have bolivian ram that i feel i had to buy as it looked dreadfull at pets@home,she keeps herself to herself so she wont get in the way.

the golds i have to keep, they are my bestest fish

i would like some keyholes, and maybe a pair of aureus like yours

is that to much territory issures?

That would be fine, its a large enough tank, its also well planted creating plenty of territories.

No, the rams stay near the bottom while the keyholes, discus and aureus tend to stay higher.

They are very placid Glenbo, but like with most set ups, you never know for sure if it will work, until you try it.

i rehomed 21 fish today,10 tetra,10 rasbora's and my tiger plec :-(

i have 4 keyholes now,they are tiny,lol

minxy is the aureus called "blue flash" aswell? my lfs have never had any in ever!!

wanna keep me 2 of yours when they are big enough? lol

Now the blue flash I believe sometimes refers to Thorichtys Ellioti, similar in temprement to the aureus and similar in appearance, just not quite as pretty IMO

Not suprised they havent had any, not often found, certainly not around here, and Im suprised that the place I got mine, still has loads left too, mind you they have a nice price tag on them.
