Hey, I just want to know some betta information. I want a tiny little tank for my room to put 1 betta in. I need lots of advice and info on bettas, and hope you guys can advise me! Thanks.

How small of a tank?
Betta's are tropical fish, and should have a heater maintaining tank temperature at 78 F. They should also live in a filtered tank (especially if it is realy small). Very small tanks should have daily water changes to keep the inhabitants healthy.
I would recommend you buy at least a 5 gallon. They don't take up much more room than one of those micro aquariums, and in the end your Betta will be much happier. They also require a lot less maintenance, and are much nicer to look at.
Try posting this in the Betta section, or read their pinned topics (I believe there are a couple).

Well I'm not real experienced with bettas, but I just got one recently and put him in his own Eclipse 3 gallon. He seems real happy! He discovered he can swim about rather than being cooped up in a cup. He's a crowntail, named Raider.

I have a 2 gallon Eclipse :) I think thats what it is anyway... But it is a future home to one of my bettas. There great little tanks though. I also have 2 in 1 gallon 'critter keepers'. Ive heard that java moss is a good choice for plants.

What all do you need to know?
