Think one of my Swordies are dieying

One of my females looks hert. She is at the bottom of the tank shacking her head left to right it happened to anouther female and shedied but this is not looking as bad as the other one was. the other female looked like her scales were pelling off and where white . Can this be happening to the other female.

Did it look fluffy before the scales came of as it sounding like columnaris.

The same thing can definatly be happening to the other female diseases will transfer from one fish to another. Were the scales sticking out or had they fallen off?

the female did not look fluffy before they came off they just started coming off.and this one does not look fluffy eather.

If the scales are white it sound like columnaris.

Its none of those it looks like someone took her out of the tank and picked her scales off.

If you have no scaless fish add some salt to the tank, what size tank is it, how many fish and which type, and what are your test result in ammonia,nitrite,nitrate,and ph.Just post test results seen your tank in your profile that's fine.

Wilder i have 4 female swordies
2 male swordies
1 redtailed shark
1 chocolate albino pleco
1 male guppieand a few fry in my tank is it ok if i put salt in it ?
