Think My Guppy Has Dropsy..

Hi there, I just looked into my tank, and realise one of my male guppies looked quite spiky and wasn't moving as he normally does.
I have netted him and put him in a jar (I have nohwere else to put him!!) and I am just about to go a thorough water change and gravel clean.
Is there anything else I should do to try and prevent my other fish getting ill?
