Think I've Cocked Up Again

hey guy's can you confirm my fears.


i moved over my extablished filter to the new tank and planted it all fri/sat/sun

there have been no fish in there, i have been ei dosing and co2

now will the bacteria be dead as i didn't add amonia?

if so shall i use some media from my other tank 1yr old and put it in the filter and get some ammonia for the bacteria

or ad my plec or a few neon tetras?

she bascteria might have died. But it doesnt matter. Just put the old filter media back in the old tank and leave it there for a few days. The bacteria will grow back.

Test the water before you jump to any conclusions, maybe leave in a few fish flakes or an algae wafer to encourage ammonia build up while there are no fish in the tank.
