added enough ammonia at about 9pm last night to take it too 5ppm and this mornin...11.30 its back at 0. Say if i do an 80% water change tonight with treated water can i get some fish tomorrow?

What about your nitrites? They also need to go down to zero in 24 hours.
 
ok sorry forgot bout that 1 :( thats showing a pretty hight reading about 2ppm...what should i do to lower this anything or just keep adding ammonia?

When the ammonia are gone and the nitrites are high, that shows you are in the second stage of the cycling process. So just keep going. You must get the colony of nitrite-eating bacteria established too, before it is safe to add fish, as nitrites are just as toxic, if not more, as ammonia. Just keep going, you are obviouslyon the right path!
 
ok ty mate thanks 4 the help :) just read that i shud half the ammonia im puttin in now is this true?
