things are on the up

things seem to on there way up im my little fish kingdom this is ever since i added six little albeano tiger barbs to it ,im my tank i have one male betta and a female,three guppies,one albeano rainbow shark,a commen plek i think? and a tiger barb. there seems to be a lot more happening now and when i feed them they all fight for the food is this a good thing .also how could i tell what plek i have? when i first got my meal betta he was red but now he has gone more purpley blue why is this

Get your male betta a separate tank, and get your female her own separate tank.

The whole fighting at food time will spark animocity and you'll end up waking up some morning to a tank full of fish parts.

That's my suggestion, and do it ASAP.

Get your bettas out of there. I'm pretty sure the albino rainbow shark will eat the guppies too. What size tank are those fish in? If it is under 55 gallons, you should get rid of the shark and the common plec. Commen plecs grow huge.
