Well the first bunch of fry have just turned 4 months. Did their water change today and general clear through and now two of the males are chasing the biggest female -->
There are a couple of other females (only two males are currently 'showing an interest') in the tank, but they currently are fixated with her... will she be ok until the beginning of next week as that is when we're taking the first bulk of fry back to the shop (we'll be keeping her).
Also... we currently have three female adult platy, 1 male and 1 male swordtail, from the babies what is the 'best' ratio to keep? We can keep a maximum of seven babies currently.
Is 6 females and 1 male the only real option? Making it 9 females to 3 males.
