lovely, i think i have your little man's brother!!! :D

Well ,he's been acclimated now , and seems to be swimming around - exploring .
That picture really doesn't do him justice - he's a lot more colourful , some really nice green on his fins ..................... pictures tonight .

Yep - ya do indeed :D . How long did you acclimate your guy?

not long tbh, I always think if they've been in transit they're gonna be swimming in they're own amonia and waste so the last thing they need is to be in it any longer than is strictly nescessary. I just floated him for about 15 mins to get the temp even then popped him in the tank.

:)

Ok Miss Wiggles , thanks . He's been named "Gabriel" ( Enjoys bullying his brother over his name :p ) and she's "Ylennia" .

Oh that is good news, I can stop biting my nails now

Not a bad service at all, 2 days to reach you :good:

They are both from marble genes so the black on there is completely normal, its just her colouring :D

Look forward to seeing pics of them in their new home once they have settled in :hyper:

I have no nails left! :p

I thought it was natural - didn't look like anythin bad but better safe than sorry. :)

Just need to find that camera! :X

And Thanks Again Joby!!!!

Right , pictures . The male has already eaten a little and seems to always be out and about  . Not bad pictures for my first time postin ones I've taken myself :hey: .

The girlie however is moving way too fast around the tank for any decent pics - women eh? :* :p
I think you really get a good idea of the green on the males fins , and just how pretty he is . He's not far off being a butterfly either - its translucent at the end of 90% of his finnage .

Soooooooooooooooooooooooooo ......................
Ylennia.
And Gabriel.

If he is a butterfly he is a white/cello one. Even if it's classed as that or just a cello betta :)

Nope , I don't think he is a Butterfly , the top of his anal fin is coloured most of the way in . But the way he prances around - I'm pretty sure he thinks he is!

So you had them two?

Very nice they are :D

How are Ylennia And Gabriel with the light on in their tank?
