THEY'RE ALL DYING!!!!!!!

Pop eye is caused by internal bacteria by the way, its important you treat the tank with some anti internal bacterial med as internal bacteria can be vicious and can lead to many other deseases and would explain why your fish are dying so fast if they are already have stress from whitespot meds and high temps...

I though that Melafix was a general anti-bacterial, anti-fungal treatment as it is tea tree based? I will do a water change in a minute, and have started to tuen the temp down.

Really hope this helps!!!

Melafix is good at preventing secondary infections but cannot treat internal bacteria; your best bet is "anti internal bacteria" by Interpet, i had pop eye once in one of my fish a while back and it cured it within 2days of putting it in the tank.

You will need an anti internal bacteria med same as tokis has said, mealfix is just an antispetic treatement for wounds and helping with finrot.

Do you have a quarantine tank? You have 2 different problems which need different treatments. The ich needs a higher temperature and anti-parasite meds. (Maracide is best for all fish types and is safe with just about everything.) The columnaris needs a lower temperature and an anti-bacterial medication. (The only thing that will work at this point is Tetracycline.) You need to get the fish separated, and quickly, otherwise you have a very slim chance of saving them. Melafix is not intened to treat full-blown bacterial attacks. It's more like a homeopathic remedy for small problems and injuries. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions!

I agree a quarentine tank is probably quite essential for your fish right now- you have much better chance of saving them that way.

do bigger water changes to bring the bacteria count down. do 50% today and then 40% over the next week (using a gravel vac, to try and get the ich spores). the bacteria has been allowed to multiply and the fish are weakened by the ich. as for the meds i would stop for a few days and concentrate on the water changes and then if they start to perk up go back to the ich treatment. you need to keep the tank light off and remove any carbon from the filter.
what filter are you using? when you clean out the sponge do you rinse it in old tank water.
i had a bacterial disease and lost a few fish but the stronger ones made it with regular water changes.
using the internal meds for bacteria will only kill the bacteria in the water but not what is in the fish. i used a medi flake from dorsetdiscus to try and fight bacterial outbreaks but i dont know whats in it as you cant use antibiotics in fish food.
if it is internal have you noticed white stringy poo and are the fish still eating?

I've got Maracyn 1 and 2 on hand that I can post you if you can't get Tetracycline - let me know. Hope it goes okay.

Just to let you all know that my tank went from bad to worse. Yesterday I removed the remaining 8 fish and took them to my LFS who is quaratining them for me. We are all at a loss as to what went wrong. Water yesterday was still 0 ammonia, 0 nitrites, 5 nitrates, Ph 7.8.

Anyway, I have drained the tank, boiled the rocks and sand, scrubbed the tank and thrown all the plants away!

I have started from scratch with new filter media and had added some of the (near perfect!!) water from my other tank to hopefully start the cycle off.

Will let you know how I get on!!!!!!!

new filter media is a good idea. Make sure that you thoroughly wash the toys and decors if you wish put them back. Some of the bacteria may still be on there.

so fishless cycling increases or decreases the risk of this disease?
