Thats right, My first little ones are all grown up. So today they are off to market, store credit of course. 10 of the little guys made it to the 1.5-2cm size for this shipment, 3 males, 7 females. Wont be to many more batches though, gonna shift to africans in the nearish future

That is good to hear. I have 25 swordtail that are 1 inch big and are ready to be sold. I also have 37 other fry that are a bit to small to be sold. But I have no idea who I am going to sell it to. My lfs does not take them because they have so many.

or you can breed them again and when the store has room have them take a whole ton.

You're...you're ditching us for Africans? :-(

:p Enjoy the new fishies! And congrats on selling your first kiddos!

Hi, how long did it take them to grow to that size. Ive just had my first lot of fry and they are a week old.

You could always find someone who needs live feeders or has an eel and sell it to them.
Well I am selling the fishes to people who are keeping them alive. I dont like feeding guppies or swordtail fry to other fish. Also I will only sell it to people who I know will take good care of them.

ive yet to send any to the store i had to keep all of last ones due to them having a shiney bllue strip down there sides i do have 4 lots waiting to go though

It's best to ask your individual store, they vary. One of my LFSs won't take them until they're full grown, another will take them at 3 months, or when they're sexable, another doesn't especially care. So it's best to ask. :good:
