These are two strange Guppies then

Now i know that you should have two female guppies to the male, but i went out and bought two first guppies i ever had, One female, and one male, even the pet store for once told me that it is advisable to have two females to the male, amazing, but i have notice, i once again have a pair of strange fish (This happens on a regular basis) But my male does not stress out the female, but tends to amuse himself all day by swimming through the stream of bubbles at the back on my tank, every now and again he will bother the female, but not for more than a minute before returning to the bubbles, and if it aint her, he seems to have something for all the female fish in my tank, my female swordtail he has gone for and they are 3 times bigger than him, and Bubbles my young swordtailed fry grown up, he seem to have something for her, yes it amuses me how all the male fish have one thing on their mind for the females at the moment, but heck that is one confused and strange guppy...



Anyone with simular experiences (Please note that i have heard of cross breeding between livebearers, so i dont need to know about that) with strange and unique fishies?

guppy males like aall kinds of females, doesnt need 2 be guppies.

Glad to hear that.. But still, it amuses me how he is always found away from all the other fish swimming in the bubbles at the back of my tank

your right that is pretty funny. iv had guppys b4 and this summer im gunna starte a whole tank of them. evey once in a while i would have a werid male guppy. i had one that used to play in the bubbles and it was funny. then wen i bred him his fry played in the bubbles to. i had like 5 guppys lined up to go throgh the bubbles i loved those fish... but then they died because of a terrible case of ich. later down the road i bought another pair and once again the male wat a lil...werid. only this time i think the fish was mentally retarded. he would always bump into stuff, like he was blind or sumthin. and after a week the died. i dont know if it was a diseae or if he was rely dumb but it was pretty ****ing funny.

i've got a clown loach that swims to the top of the bubbles and then works his was down, only a baby tho so it takes it about 4 mins to do so, but it makes it in the end! wey hey, good entertainment

My albino corys do that... suddenly dart for the top of the tank, then back down, especially the half-blind one (he has only one eye). He's a character though, whenever I am doing something in the tank, like moving plants, he darts up and down my arm tickling me with his whiskers.
