Thermometer Optimum Position...

I have my filter in one rear corner of the tank - with the heater in the other rear corner. Where is the best place to position my 'strip' thermometer' for accurate readings? Near the heater? the front corners of the tank? near the filter? Thanks

I think it's best to have the heater close as possible to the filter (the Juwel filters all have the heater build into the filter box) as it distributes the heat through the tank so much better.
You can then place the thermometer on the opposite side of the tank ?
