Thermometer/heater Problem

It's started making a very strange and annoying 'whirring' or quiet 'screeching' sound intermittendly.

Has anybody experienced this before?

I doubt it's even a year old either, can't remember who I bought it from either...

Best just to sack it off and buy a new one?

Contact Hagen or the store that you purchased it from, they should be able to sort out a replacement if its faulty,
Have a look to make sure that the heater hasn't cracked anywhere.

There is a problem with the elite heaters where the thermostats seize up

Thanks for the replies. I have contacted Hagen directly as unfortunately I cannot remember which online shop I bought the heater from. I will post their reply when I get it, any more replies or ideas are most welcomed

Hagen say return it to them and if it is faulty they will replace it. The email admitted that the sound isn't exactly normal so that in dicates a fault to me. We will see what they say. I know it's not alot of interest but thought I'd post in case somebody else searches for this problem
