There's A Otter In My Fish Tanks!

Hello. My name comes from a nickname given to me from friends who are always giving me a bad time about playing in my tanks. I love to be up to my elbows in the water cleaning tanks, moving plants, placing wood and rock. All of that fun stuff. I have been in to fish for a long time. Its only been the last couple years that I have really started to learn more about the keeping and other aspects of fish. Right now I have a 55 gal with a weather loach, a clown loach,(He came to me really sick as a set of 3 but I lost the other 2 and have not been able to find 3" loaches in my area) 4 black skirt tetras, 3 red nose tetras, 3 cory cats, and 2 plattes. I have Black Moon Sand in the bottom of this tank with a HOB filter. I just switched this tank out of a 40 Gal and have another HOB coming in the mail. The center piece of this tank will be a Violet Goby, or dragon fish. All the fish in this tank have been given to me at one time or another. I have a 30 gal. with 4 3"gold fish (fancy), and another 30 with a Orlando gf that I paid $25 and I can not keep it right side up , another 2"fancy GF and 3 polywogs.(My son wants a pet frog and I was not going to pay $14 a frog when I could get the same breed as a polywog in the same store for $1.50 each. Empty tanks I have a 40 tall, 100 show, 30, and about 3, 10gal. Oh thats right I also have my husbands tank, its a 5gal.hex with bio-wheel with a betta, 3 pigmy cory cats and a couple ghost shrimp.
Aso in this zoo I call home I have 4 dogs, 3cats, a rabbit, 2 cavies, 2 rats, 2 kids and a husband.

Wow Shelly - that's lot of tanks!

You have quite a mix of fish there and might want to check out the Fish Profiles for info on compatability and maximum sizes etc

Also I'd have a look at the ColdWater topics for goldfish info and don't be surprised if someone mentions that they need a bigger tank!
