Her brother was very happy that I took it, he seemed to be bothered by even having to take care of it.

What's his personality like? I tend not to name fish for 1-2 weeks after I purchase them, during that time, I get to know them, we face off, glare, and decide who rules (with bettas.... they rule, and I pretend I do in the mean time).

I've had a silver CT in my care for a while, now, and so far, I just think of him as "my guy", which isn't exactly a valid name.

Oh my! I don't usually like red bettas, but he's got such a cute face!

As for names, I'm completely stumped. I can't even think of a name for mine! I recently re-watched Masque of the Red Death, though, so if you're a fan of Vincent Price, Edgar Allan Poe, or even The Phantom of the Opera (since there was that whole masquerade scene), perhaps "Red Death" would be suitable? Might be too morbid of a name, but the flowing red fins and the very vibrant color really reminded me of Red Death.

Haha. It's fun to see everyone have a good time with the names. I liked all of them, very fun. Now that I have a list to choose from, I'll wait a week or so (like suggested), and choose one that best fits him.
