The ultimate setup

If i had that money to blow i would get either a huge 400 gallon custom made wall tank or a huge 400 gallon lake malawii chiclid tank!
Good luck with wat ever you do with the money!

£5000

that'll just about get our marine up and running and stocked :D

it isn't that much when you start looking at big marine tanks

It's been a bit of an eye opener for me!

Those osphronemus goramy I want... and a tank to breed them in :D

I saw a complete marine reef set up today for £599 at my lfs, it wasn't big being 3' x 2' x 2' but wish I had that money to spare.

It would be a 1500g freshwater tank (at least 10ft x 4ft x 3ft)

I would stock it with an arowana, a school of 10 bala sharks, 3 emperor sharks, and a massive school (200+) of tetras

I'd build a 5000 gallon tank, stock it with plants and native fish like bass, sunfish, perch, then I would put a school of like 1000 feeder minnows. Oh I'd also put a piece of driftwood the size of a large tree stump, with the trunk :D

I dont know the equvalent to american dollars but if i had that much money i would get a 500 gal tank and get 2 giant gouramis, several bala sharks, a school of silved dollars, and 5 full grown clown loaches. the tank would have alot of rocks and drift wood :fun:

 that's why I'd build it, and tile half of it. Though I think I would go broke on the filtration and the tree. I would just catch the fish myself :p

Personally I would like 2 8' tanks with one on either side of my living room both built into cabinets and at the same hieght.

One tank would be a small to medium size species tank that I would probably slant to give 2' or so to a terrestial side.

The other would be a complete saltwater setup that I know my puffers would dearly love. :)
