The Two Kinds Of Fish People...

I have a 'community' type set up (which just happens to be planted)
and and oddball tank. additionally I also have a tank that combines the two (oddballs & community fish).
my question to the OP is
where in the two types of fishkeeper do I fall?

IMHO
there anr many types of fishkeeper but we all have one thing in common
and that is keeping fish

Well, i hvae "oddballs's" which are crayfish( the only reason i consider then odd balls, is becasue they arent very popular), larg cichlids like convicts( i think they are large), and angelfish. But then i also keep stuff like guppies, swords, mollies, platy's, and i like tetra's and all, but they usually wont work with my other fish.

It is possible to be into smaller fish but not do the aquascaping/artform thing. Think of all the people who breed rare speces- their fish houses are often not works of art but highly utilitarian places. This is the route I would like to go down, not interested at all in CO2 and the Amano scene at all, but would like to breed more small fish. I like having a bit of live greenery, but don't really mind if it's the same hygrophilas and anubias in every single tank. Basically, interior decorating doesn't do a thing for me, I'm just interested in fish behaviour.
Tons of nano tanks is spot on, though- and if I had the space I'd do species tanks rather than communities.
