The triplets are my three orange Swordie female offspring of the late great Doris. They are all three showing signs of advanced pregnancy and displaying territorial behavior. The problem is they are all after the same spot. Morris is looking rather sullen since none of them will let him near and the blue-blacks do not seem to be interesting enough for him to chase. One of them is not yet full grown and the other may also be up the duff. It is so hard to tell with them though.
I would guess that the three oranges will all be dropping the fry within the next few days. If they are anything like their Mommy
I am going to be drowned in fry.
This could be the first batch for all three unless they have had previous batches that were very small. I have not seen a distinctive gravid spot in any of them before but thought they may have been showing some of the signs and only had a few fry the first time out.
