The water mains pipes were replaced a week ago and the readings im getting a week later are

Nitrite-0
Nitrate-10
Ammonia-0
PH-A perfect 7

Ok so not quite perfect as in an ideal world Nitrate would be 0 but its as near as perfect as you can get.

Meanwhile my cycling tank is not altering its ammonia readings a week later  I have quite a few plants, aeration and the temp is 80 degrees so id have thought it would be coming down now! So everything cant be perfect i suppose!

lol, i think ours is better

pH 7.2
ammonia 0
ntirite 0
nitrate 0

just takes a while for the ammonia to start moving sometimes, just have to persevere

Ours is

pH 7
ammonia 0
nitrite 0
nitrate 0

Looks good but in fact there is very little KH in our water so add some bog wood and our pH drops very quickly..

Your not going to have any trouble stocking most fish in that water m8 :good:

I guess its only perfect if your fish like 7.0.. if your a mbuna keeper its less then perfect ;-)

there is also alot of other things that go in in water besides the nitrate cycle...

What about phospahte? KH or GH??
