No water changes? Seems too good to be true. And I understand mechanical filtration, and biological filtration, but I don't get 'ecological filtration'. I must admit I didn't read every page in the website. It also says "Eco Magic simulates the self-cleaning function of nature and thereby spares you the trouble of water changing." What self cleaning function of nature? do they mean the water throughput of rivers/lakes/seas? Even enclosed water like lakes loses water through evaporation and leakage into the water table, and receives new water through streams/springs etc (that's how it got there in the first place!).
I haven't used this product so i can't comment objectively, but my gut feeling is too much Hype - I'd like to see them prove it works!

Edit. Re-reading your post, you are using one. What's your view on it? How long has it been set up and what are your water readings like? It would be cool if you kept us in the loop, because if it does work, i want one!
