The New 43gal Up And Runing Tonight!

Well I previously said I was going to be donated a tank by a couple that were moving and didnt want there tank anymore. When they gave me a water sample of there tank from the fish they brought back to the lfs I was astonished they lived ... the Nitrates were off the api test scale. Thus I was not expecting much out of the tank just your reg square (what they said was 50 gal) tank.

Well I got 2 suprises when I went to pick up the tank!

1) There was 2 plecos, a loach, and 4 Golden Pristella Tetra's still in the tank! (the 2 plecos have now been ID as 1 male 1 female bristle nose pleco, and the loach is a juvi YOYO loach)

The second suprise was teh tank itself! I cant believe they just handed me the stand and the tank over...anyhow ill let the pictures do the talkin and I'm extreemly thankfull! I guess good things still happen in life

**Due to lack of funds I had to go with fake plants as I cant aford the flourite, co2, etc etc However I believe I was lucky in my fake plant's looking good! As well going to put a black background in the morning as soon as the hardware store opens up **

Thanks was the best deal I ever found

The joy atm is that I got to keep all the established filter and they gave me all there extra sponge, and tubes and floss

Now for the stocking!!

Thus far I know for sure there will be

1 Clown pleco *moving out of my 20gal*
1 Male bristle nose pleco *came with the tank*
1 Yoyo loach *came with tank*

Ideas being tossed around to stock:

African lampeye's (aprox 8-10)

Glass catfish (aprox 4)

Rummynose tetras *This is not an option there going in * (aprox 10-12)

Harlequin rasbora (aprox 6)

Ember tetras (aprox 6)

White could's (not sure yet)

That is the rough draft of how I would like to stock it but the #'s arent set yet! 1 thing is for sure I dont want to over stock her and looking at my ##'s I'm a tad over. Sigh will crunch the numbers more and relook at the fish just thoes aer all the fish I love to look at >.<
