As many of you know, I've lost both my appistogrammas. many factors played in. Looking at photos now, the male had a physical defect and the female never brightened colours till the male died and right before she died.
Then my betta became constipated, I didn't get him a boiled pea in time, and he literally began to rip appart, and is now dead....
Gosh darn it's been a bad week.
I also got rid of the kribs, the most beautiful pair I've ever seen, because of their pecking of the eels.
I also got a Red tail blue loach as a hitch hiker in the rock that I partially blame for the death of the apistogrammas. In the hurry to save him, I forgot to properly boil the new rock, and put it in the 10 with the appistogrammas.
So that was the bad, the ugly, and the unkown.
here's the good.
We can Live in plants Again! yay!
My eels are allowing themselves back into plants since they aren't abused by the kribs.
My plants are growing like mad in the 38
look at all that green... with eels
find the eel among the plants!
The elephant nose is still alive, which is always good.
and My queen arabesque has practically stopped hiding in the slate cave, which could mean the clown's kicked him out, but I'm not sure. If there's a problem arising from this, the clown can move to the 30 gallon that will replace the 10 after these holidays.
he's still a rare sight... but... the camaroon shrimp (blue vampire shrimp) is getting braver too!
Sigh. once the 10 is gone and I clone the 30, life will be better.

I'm not feeling the love. It almost makes me feel like not sharing these pics of my new java moss/bogwood. But I'm going to anyways.
