As many of you know, I've lost both my appistogrammas. many factors played in. Looking at photos now, the male had a physical defect and the female never brightened colours till the male died and right before she died.

Then my betta became constipated, I didn't get him a boiled pea in time, and he literally began to rip appart, and is now dead....

Gosh darn it's been a bad week.

I also got rid of the kribs, the most beautiful pair I've ever seen, because of their pecking of the eels.

I also got a Red tail blue loach as a hitch hiker in the rock that I partially blame for the death of the apistogrammas. In the hurry to save him, I forgot to properly boil the new rock, and put it in the 10 with the appistogrammas.

So that was the bad, the ugly, and the unkown.

here's the good.

We can Live in plants Again! yay!

My eels are allowing themselves back into plants since they aren't abused by the kribs.

My plants are growing like mad in the 38
look at all that green... with eels :hyper:

find the eel among the plants!

The elephant nose is still alive, which is always good.

and My queen arabesque has practically stopped hiding in the slate cave, which could mean the clown's kicked him out, but I'm not sure. If there's a problem arising from this, the clown can move to the 30 gallon that will replace the 10 after these holidays.

he's still a rare sight... but... the camaroon shrimp (blue vampire shrimp) is getting braver too!

Sigh. once the 10 is gone and I clone the 30, life will be better.

60 views... not a single post... :/ I'm not feeling the love. It almost makes me feel like not sharing these pics of my new java moss/bogwood. But I'm going to anyways.

It looks very nice. I love the eels! I also love the clown pleco! Dont you just love them!!! I have one and he is my favorite besides my yoyo loaches and corys! :D

I am sorry you lost some or your fish. But things seem to be doing good now so that is a good thing!

Very nice java moss, but actually I think it's christmas moss. A very nice ammount and very healthy too, where did you get it from? I'm not really a fan of the eels, but I have to say they do look like amusing characters. Sorry about your aspitos.

The store mislabled it as java moss perhaps, but I got it at a LFS, as a man had brought it in who had it set up a good three years and was moving sold it to them. So they got it cheap, and I got it reasonably fair :hey:

man, there's a lot of australians on the chat. you. clay roper... Kuhni....

and yes, I love mine. hehe. $33 and worth it all. he's better than those $22 ones... yes he is... cause he's not a log like them

They are lovely.

Hey, if anyone could ID the moss as christmas or java, it'd be really nice!

and... UGGGH. the Red tailed blue loach kept jumping up into the filter stream during the night and made splashing noises, not allowing me to sleep. and finals are today :X
