The Deep Hull

jflowers and I (and our lovely daughter Emma) went to The Deep in Hull today It was fantastic though if you are going I would recommend getting there when it opens as it got busy very quickly. I would also recommend taking spare camera batteries (ours ran out and I left spare batteries in the car!!) and working out how to turn your flash off before you go in. The only mode I could get our camera not to flash in was close up mode - hence some blurry photos. Though in our amateur photo taking still amazingly managed to take some good photos - particularly of the jellyfish Here are our piccies

We found the sharks amazing though it is hard to get an idea of size from the photos believe me they were huge!

i have been there a couple of years back it is amazing there trully the sharks are massive on 1 display the window has a lip and the shark leopard shark was sitting below it i couldn't see it then it suddenly swum up and this 7 ft shark made me jump out of my skin it was only 4 inches from my face hell its amazing, that place.

Yes I know where you mean! One of the huge stingrays did that to me. I really have seen nothing like that before, it is difficult to get an idea of scale from the photos but they were truly huge!
