Size - I guess maybe 2 inches?
Food - Betta pellets, flakes, live foods, freeze-dried foods (although not highly recommended)
tank mates - I don't know much about tank mates, but bettas do much better off alone.
personalities - depends on the fish. Some of mine are lazy, some are hyperactive

---- all the same as a "regular" betta. Just make sure to keep the water 100000% clean they, or at least mine do, tend to get finrot easy! my mg(mustard gas, middle pic) male is battling finrot now, he recovers then diminishes, recovers and again gets bad. im treating heavily with meds everyday but its been 2 months. maybe soon if i cant heal him im going to have to put him down. hes nice and i have 3 mg females just waiting to breed with him but he wont get better. but i dont want to give up because he is such a fighter.
