A rather complex title for a rather complex process. Atm im playing musical tanks(need more tanks lol) trying to balance out the Saulosi and their fry. My 30G currently has the male and a single female in it, my larger fry tank(which it turns out is bigger than i thought) is serving for a home for the holding female(eggs of hatched, but after the trauma of my previous fry im going to let her spit naturally if possible, so lots of water changes for this tank) as the male was being too randy. So the long and short; a 30 gallon with a male saulosi in full breeding colours, 1 female whos already spat her fry, 2 Perticolas of about 2 inches each, and a wobegong of a male bristlenose that i saw for the first time in a couple of weeks today. A 2G fry tank with 9 lovely healthy monthers or so, and a 5+G with a holding female who has a whole bunch of fry.
Add to this a shellie tank with a single (female i think)neo brevis, and a neo caudopunctatus that i was given, and a cory tank for my 3 similis, and youve got a power situation that looks like a 2YO designed it, air tubing all over the place and the steady sound of bubbles in 4 different tanks. This is all in a single corner of my room so im hoping the cops dont come and think ive got my own private hydro whoopi weed
.
NB: I wouldnt normally worry too much about the Saulosi fry, however ive been offered 5$ a fish when they reach 1 inch, so im keen to raise all i can. Certainly enough to sustain my complex fish situation: i cant wait til i can afford a decent size tank.
I cant believe the problems cause by just 3 fish LOL.
