heya found a thread about an offer on tanks at aldis, looked at tanks today none in aldis anymore

so looked at the others at pets at home with £50 couldnt get anything amazing!
so looked at the begginer kits they had a 25L hexagonal tank 70-80cm height i think am looking at it estimating...
-sigh- pets at home say i can keep 2-3 blue rams in it???
how can i edit my stock list??
HELP  :-(
OK this was originally based on a 54L tank,
have thought carefully and come up with this...

2 german blue rams

4-5 Harlequinn Rasboras

2-3 pygmy or peppered Corys

1 german blue ram needs 10 gallons of water and 2 need 20 gallons ideally so they are a no no really :(

If you work at 1cm of adult fish size per litre that'susually a good estimate for stocking a tank :)

Have you looked on Ebay at tanks? You can get some good bargains on there if you're prepared to have a good search about :)

just a thought. tall tanks although are able to hold gallons of water, lose out in terms of surface area compared to their normal counterparts, rectangular tanks which holds the same amount of water. your water has to be well aerated or the fishes would risk dying due to the lack of oxygen.
