I know these are the last fish you are meant to add to a tank and all, but what happens if you want to add another fish? as they're very territorial

when ever i have an arsey fish and want to add a new one i take the arsey one and put it in a breeder net for like ten minutes (after the fish is aclymatised)and then release the new one and the arsey one seems to lose its territory it seems to work.

or put the arsey ones in a breeder net rescape a little bit and add the new ones then the arsey ones but i find the first way easyier

that might answer your question

If you have a sump I'd chuck the naughty one in the sump for a day and then return him/her to the display. If you don't have a sump, I'd add the new fish when the lights are off (and they won't turn back on for a day or so) and hope for the best or you can hold it in some kind of net(if it won't jump out) while the new one has an hour or so to get used the tank.

That's what I'd do. :good:

Grammas aren't bad boys , most dotty backs are - whatever you do don't mix them
