i'm gonna be leaving wednesday night for thanksgiving and wont be back till sunday.

i have a couple of small fish in a 2.5 gallon tank and was wondering if they would be okay for the 4 days i wont be there. i have 3-day feeders, but they might be too big for my tank. the filter i have is good enough for a 10 gallon tank, but the block dissolving might cause problems.

i also have 2 female bettas in separate kritter keepers, and i have 7-day betta feeders, but there's no filtration in those tanks, so i dont know if the feeders would even dissolve properly in those tanks. it says that one of the small blocks are good enough for a 10-15 gallon tank, and the kritter keepers are only about 3/4 to 1 gallon.

if anyone could let me know if theyre still okay to use or should i just fast them for the couple of days or another alternative. thanks in advance.

All of them will do fine without food for 4 days. If the fish are healthy to start with, they can easily live for a week without any food. And you're right about the vacation feeder. Don't use it, it only pollutes the water.
