Just wanted to say thanks for all that I have read on this forum as my tank is now cycled. I thought my tank was cycled a couple of weeks ago so in my excitment rushed down to my lfs and picked up 4 peppered corys and 3 platies. I then realised my tank hadnt finished cycling and quickly removed them and my mum has been looking after them in her tank. Aqua Tom came to my rescue and donated me some of his mature media and I have been dosing up to 3-5ppm ammonia for the last week and readings of ammonia and nitrites have been going back to zero within 12 hours.
I have now purchased some amazing peacock moss from jojouk which is in the tank and doing ok along with 2 new plants so I am slowly replacing my plastic plants.
I am planning on putting my fish back in and getting another 2 corys. Was also thinking of a male Betta and a some smallish schooling fish. My tank is a 64 ltr with dimensions of - H 37 x W 60 x D 32 cm.
Would that be an ok stock list and what schooling fish do you guys recommend?
