Thanks again for all the advise and help I’ve now created my planted 90L pea puffer tank.

It has no fish in and no ammonia as of yet when the water went in it was crystal clear this morning it now has haze.. Is this bacteria bloom already? Even tho it’s a brand new filter with no added ammonia?

Pic below :) this was before the haze/fog

I suspect it's a result of the hardscape stuff, wood especially. My own scaped tanks with wood in them also went "hazy" and got a slimy glass covering inside. I still suffer from the biofilm build-up from having a nutrient rich water where aqua soil has been used along with wooden hardscape.
Slide your fingers down the side of the glass. If it feels greasy then it'll be biofilm

Nope there’s no slimy stuff as of yet. It’s only had water in for 18 hours at the moment, all rocks cleaned (took ages) sand/gravel was clean as a whistle. When the water first went in it was crystal clear too so nothing seemed to of been disturbed.

Could it be minerals being released from the rocks then?

If I’m correct dragon stone should not release any minerals. I may be wrong tho? I thought I could be tannings but it’s not the correct colour

Yes, a bacterial bloom will occur without fish and without ammonia. The bacteria is in the water and multiplies, then hopefully clear in a few days.
Unfortunately this is not the same bacteria needed in a cycled tank. For that process you need ammonia or fish.

Beautiful tank BTW.

Thanks i took my time with it as I’m now a patient person ha. It’s just been a while since I started a new tank. So if this is the bloom then I’m happy and won’t do a water changed I’m now decided weather to add filter media from my external filter on my well established tank and put it into my internal filter and add 4 small fish and do a fish in cycle or buy ammonia and do that cycle. As of now I’m unsure and undecided what to do. I am feeding the plants regardless and adding the sacheam bacteria regardless.

Personally I add cycled filter sponges and a net bag of substrate to cycle. Extra plants like a bunch of floating water sprite helps, they can be removed easily afterwards. Then monitor daily and water change any time ammonia or nitrite go above zero. IME I have had a couple of days of nitrite then a stable cycle; or no issues.

But I don't know how delicate pea puffers are...and you did say you were patient now!

I most definitely won’t be putting pea puffers in till the tank is 100% cycled that’s for sure if anything I’d put 4 danios in with cycled media :)
